Terms of Use
1. Provider and scope
Beleggo (the "tool") is provided by Adam Urban, Postfach 1144, 76356 Weingarten, Germany (contact: [email protected]). These terms govern use of the website, the web app, the desktop app, the CLI and the MCP server, as well as the purchase of a Pro licence.
2. What the tool does
Beleggo creates, opens, checks, repairs and converts electronic invoices (including XRechnung, ZUGFeRD / Factur-X and Peppol BIS 3) locally on your device. Processing and validation happen in the browser or the local application; invoice data is not transmitted to the provider's servers.
3. Free usage
Opening, checking and creating e-invoices is free and usable without an account. The provider may adjust the free feature set at any time.
4. Pro licence
The Pro version is purchased as a one-time payment (no subscription); the applicable price is shown before purchase during checkout. Payment is processed by the payment provider Stripe. After successful payment you receive a licence key that is verified locally — without a server connection. The licence is for personal or business use by the purchasing person or company and may not be resold or made publicly available.
5. Right of withdrawal for digital content
For digital content, the right of withdrawal expires once performance has begun with your express consent before the end of the withdrawal period and you have confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Consumers are informed of this during checkout.
6. Your obligations
You are responsible for the accuracy of the invoice data you enter and for the legally compliant, tamper-proof retention of your invoices (§ 147 AO, GoBD). Beleggo is not an archiving system.
7. Warranty and liability
The tool is developed with the greatest care and continuously cross-checked against the official KoSIT validator. However, no guarantee can be given that a checked invoice will be accepted by every receiving party in every individual case, because recipients' rule sets and validation profiles vary and may change. The same applies to the correctness and completeness of an individual validation result; responsibility for the invoice's content remains with the user. The provider is fully liable for intent and gross negligence, under the Product Liability Act, and for injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence the provider is liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
8. Not legal or tax advice
Beleggo's content, guides and validation results do not constitute legal or tax advice. For binding advice, consult a tax advisor or lawyer.
9. Availability
Local use of Beleggo works offline. For the website and payment processing, high but not uninterrupted availability is intended; there is no claim to uninterrupted availability.
10. Final provisions
German law applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
