Privacy Policy

The most important point first

This tool is privacy-first: creating, opening and checking e-invoices runs entirely locally in your browser. Your invoice data, uploaded files and the XML/PDF documents you generate are not transmitted to any server, not stored and not accessible to us.

Processing in the browser (no transmission)

Validation is performed by an engine running in your browser (Saxon-JS). All input — invoice contents, seller and customer data, file contents — stays on your device. None of this data is processed on our servers.

Local storage

So that you don't have to re-enter your seller profile, saved customers and any Pro license on every visit, the tool stores these in your browser's localStorage. This data remains solely on your device and can be removed at any time via the "Clear data" function in the tool or through your browser settings.

Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by [Cloudflare Pages]. When the pages are accessed, technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, date/time, requested file, browser type) is processed to ensure delivery and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable and secure operation).

Analytics (optional)

If enabled, we use [Plausible Analytics] — a cookie-free web analytics service thatdoes not build personal profiles and does not combine data across devices. Only anonymized, aggregated usage statistics are collected. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Newsletter / interest list (optional)

If you sign up via the form, we store your email address to inform you about news and the Pro launch. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time; consent applies until revoked.

Payment (Pro, optional)

To purchase a Pro license we use the payment provider [Stripe]. Payment is processed directly by Stripe; we only receive the information that a payment was made, along with the issued license key. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can revoke any consent given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact the email address above.
