PEPPOL-EN16931-R053
Only one tax total with tax subtotals MUST be provided.
What does this rule mean?
More than one tax total with subtotals is present.
The VAT breakdown belongs in exactly one block, otherwise the total VAT would be ambiguous.
Official rule message (standard)
Only one tax total with tax subtotals MUST be provided.
Where the rule applies
Syntax: CII · UBL
The same rule, expressed twice: UBL and CII name the same fields with different paths. Running a CII file against the UBL rules is why you get errors that mean nothing.
